Guided Learning E-Portfolio
Welcome to my online portfolio! I am a year 2 student in Temasek Polytechnic, pursuing a diploma in Veterinary Technology. I have always loved animals but never paid particular interest to birds. However, ever since my cousin started owning parrots, I fell in love with their intelligence and silly antiques almost instantly! Besides my love for animals, I also love to draw and paint but never ventured into the digital side. I thought, why not switch things up?

The Guided Learning module has provided me with the perfect opportunity to learn more about how to care for parrots as well as to use digital software to make art. Combining both my passion for animals and art, I wanted to create something meaningful.

What is Guided Learning?
Guided Learning (GL) is a 3 CU Pass/Fail module offered by Temasek Polytechnic, which uses TP's 4 steps self-directed learning framework: Plan - Perform - Monitor - Reflect, or PPMR in short.

In GL, students will get to decide, plan and execute a project in an area of their interests which will be guided by a Learning Facilitator. With the freedom that GL provides, there is also no scheduled lesson but only consultations with the LF.

The 3 assessment components of the module includes Refined Proposal, (e)Portfolio and Reflection Interview.
