Basic Parrot Care Survey
I wanted to find out more about parrot owners and the public's knowledge about basic parrot care to justify the questions I wanted to include in my infographic. I also wanted to see what is the difference between the understanding of parrot care in those who own parrots and those who do not. Before crafting the survey questions, I did my research on basic parrot care to understand what questions I could ask as well as what the options for the questions could be.
To obtain responses from parrot owners, the survey was sent to people around me who own parrots and shared in 2 Facebook groups - 'Birdies and Family SG' and 'Wings of Parrots (Singapore)' - for bird owners in Singapore to share their knowledge on bird care. I also shared my survey in GL circle (a channel for past and present Guided Learning students) on MS Teams.
I initially set a target to obtain at least 30 responses within a week but received 155 responses instead. Here is a big thank you to everyone who helped me fill up the survey!
